Kevin Gormley is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with an advanced practice master's degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Kevin also possesses a graduate degree in human resources and a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He is currently enrolled at Arizona State University in the Doctoral Program for Behavioral Sciences. Kevin is a 25-year, highly decorated veteran of the US Army, Lieutenant Colonel (retired), with several combat missions in wartime and peace-keeping, providing mental health services and interventions for over 20 years to diverse populations across the globe. While in the Army, Kevin was further trained in addictions medicine, neuropsychiatry, adult and child psychiatry and held positions in peacetime and wartime where he managed and practiced with teams across various medical platforms. Kevin's passion is to continue to grow in the field of psychiatry and build on quality care, grounded science and medically evidence-based treatments that will continue to impact and influence the wellness of diverse populations, one person at a time. He is the father to three amazing grown children and spends time with his partner and two Golden-doodles at home while exploring every beach they can step foot on. Kevin believes that every patient is on a journey in life, one that he values building trust and therapeutic bonds, while providing the highest level of quality and evidence-based care through Minded.
