My Minded provider listened to me and didn’t judge, fat shame, or tell me what to do like previous doctors I’ve been to.”

Heidi, 42

Minded was super easy! My prescription was renewed the same day, and I felt good talking to a mental health professional.”

Melissa, 35

Refilling my anxiety medication was a breeze. The clinician was extremely friendly, caring, and reassuring. Highly recommend.”

FAQs

Is Minded right for me?
Arrow

Minded is available to people 18 and over in the states where we operate. We treat a full spectrum of mental health conditions and can prescribe a wide range of mental health medications.

Our psychiatry providers can evaluate patients for treatment with a controlled medication only for individuals with proof of prior controlled medication in their state Prescription Monitoring Program. With proof of prior prescription, our care team can prescribe controlled medications, based on Minded protocols, provider clinical judgement, and your location. Note: We do not prescribe controlled medications in every state where we operate. We do not prescribe schedule II medications (things like Ritalin®, Adderall®, and medications with methlyphenidate or amphetamine in their name). Please ask our team if you have questions about what we prescribe in your location.

Minded is not a good fit for some people who need a higher level of care, e.g. those that are in an acute crisis, actively suicidal, or need to be hospitalized. If you are experiencing an emotional crisis, or if you believe that you are a danger to yourself or to others, get help immediately: Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 988 to speak with a live counselor 24 hours a day. Text the Crisis Text Line by sending ‘HOME’ to 741-741 to connect to a counselor immediately.

Where is Minded currently available?
Arrow

Minded is currently available in California, Florida, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia. Located elsewhere? Send us an e-mail at support@tryminded.com and let us know where you live. When we expand to your area, you’ll be the first to know.

Do I need insurance to get started with Minded?
Arrow
  • You don’t need insurance to sign up for Minded. Typically, a Minded membership costs less than insurance copayments for office visits and medications. At this time, the Minded services are not participating in, submitted to, or eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, or any other health insurance offering for reimbursement, so you would cover the full cost of the services.
  • Minded is FSA/HSA eligible.
  • Prescriptions may be reimbursable through your insurance plan, please check with your plan provider for more information.

Can I renew more than one medication?
Arrow

Yes, Minded can help you manage multiple psychiatric medications at the discretion of our Care Team.
